Emirates FA Cup holders Chelsea will face either Sky Bet Championship club Sheffield Wednesday or Luton Town of Sky Bet League One in the fourth round of this season’s competition.

A much-changed Blues side beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 in their third round tie at Stamford Bridge on Saturday and Maurizio Sarri’s men will face a similar test in the next round.

The fourth round draw was made on Monday evening and it was determined that Chelsea will host either second tier Wednesday or third tier Luton Town in the next round. Sarri’s men will be the red hot favourites to advance from that tie given both their home advantage and superior playing squad.

Steve Bruce’s Sheffield Wednesday side have struggled to shine in the Sky Bet Championship this season and a poor run of form recently cost former boss Jos Luhukay his job.

In Sky Bet League One, Luton Town have been flying high and The Hatters could be the tougher of Chelsea’s two potential opponents with the Bedfordshire club often having the stomach for the big occasion.

Sheffield Wednesday drew 0-0 with Luton Town at Hillsborough in their third round tie and face a replay at Kenilworth Road next week. The winners will face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the weekend of 25-28 January.
