Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri has given on loan Derby County pair Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount permission to feature for The Rams against The Blues in the Carabao Cup Fourth Round tie at Stamford Bridge next week according to official club sources.

The duo joined The Rams on season-long loan deals ahead of the current campaign and have both been impressive in the early weeks of their agreements at Pride Park.

Former Blues midfielder Frank Lampard will bring his Derby County side to The Bridge for a Carabao Cup Fourth Round tie on Wednesday 31 October and it has been revealed that both Tomori and Mount will be permitted to play against their parent club.

Both players have been on the books at Chelsea since 2005. Defender Tomori has made one senior appearance for The Blues which came against Leicester City on the final day of the 2015/2016 campaign while teammate Mount has featured for the South West Londoners up to Under-23 level.

This season has so far seen Tomori feature for Derby County on 15 occasions while he has scored one goal. Midfielder Mount has netted five times for The Rams in 16 appearances and his good performances were recently recognised by England manager Gareth Southgate with the player earning a first senior call-up.

Chelsea qualified for the Fourth Round of this season’s Carabao Cup by beating Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield last month.
