Andy Myers’ Chelsea Under-18s side have chalked up a sixth straight win by beating West Ham United 5-0 on their own turf this morning.

Tino Anjorin, Henry Lawrence and Marcel Lewis were all on the scoresheet for The Blues while Thierno Ballo notched a brace.

Chelsea took the lead in the 13th minute when the lively Anjorin scrambled the ball into the net from close range after West Ham United had failed to clear the danger posed by a free-kick.

It was soon 2-0 to The Blues when Lawrence displayed some great improvisation to turn and score before Lewis battled off a couple of defenders to bag Chelsea’s third goal inside 20 minutes.

Seven minutes later, Marcel Tavinier’s cross landed on the head of Ballo who netted a fourth Chelsea goal with over an hour to play.

Amadou Diallo’s vicious strike for West Ham United struck the post and that was as good as it got for the home side in a disastrous first half.

The second half wasn’t quite as dramatic with Chelsea naturally pulling their feet off the gas with the three points in the bag.

Anjorin looked likely to score but missed while home keeper Joseph Anang almost dropped the ball into his own net.

Myers’s side made it 5-0 seven minutes into the half when Jon Russell’s strike fell at the feet of Ballo who tapped in his second goal of the game.

Ian Maatsen saw a shot hit the post for Chelsea later in the half but it didn’t matter one bit as The Blues ended 5-0 winners.
