Chelsea will be looking to return to winning ways in the English Premier League when they take on struggling Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium on Sunday.

The Blues remain unbeaten in all competitions under new boss Maurizio Sarri but have drawn their last two league matches at West Ham United and against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge last week.

Sarri now takes his side to the South Coast where they take on a Southampton side which have won just once in the English Premier League this season. Chelsea battled back from two-goals down to win 3-2 in a dramatic clash at St Mary’s Stadium last term.

The home side go into Sunday’s fixture with no new injury concerns. Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy is likely to be declared fit to play after recovering well from a knock while former Blues defender Ryan Bertrand and forwards Mohamed Elyounoussi and Shane Long could also be ready to feature.

Chelsea make the trip to the South Coast with virtually a fully-fit squad. Blues boss Sarri is likely to recall a number of his first team stars after they were rested for the UEFA Europa League group fixture against Hungarian champions MOL Vidi at The Bridge on Thursday evening.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 2.15pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League channels.
