Chelsea trio Jake Clarke-Salter, Fikayo Tomori and Tammy Abraham have all been named in England Under-21s manager Aidy Boothroyd’s 23-man squad for the upcoming 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying fixtures against Andorra and Scotland.

The Young Lions take on Group 4 minnows Andorra at The Proact Stadium next Thursday before facing Scotland in their final match at Tynecastle five days later.

England Under-21s boss Boothroyd named his squad earlier today with the three Chelsea representatives included once again just like they have been for most of the qualification campaign so far.

Boothroyd’s men are currently top of their group after eight matches with 20 points collected from a maximum of 24. They now need just one point to make sure of qualification for next summer’s finals in Italy and San Marino, although in reality, the job is probably already done.

Clarke-Salter, Tomori and Abraham all started in England’s previous outing against Latvia last month. Abraham scored in that match as The Young Lions went on to win 2-1 after initially having to come from behind.

Another Chelsea star, Mason Mount, scored the winning goal in that game but will not be included this time around after receiving a first senior call-up by first team boss Gareth Southgate.
