In other news it has been revealed that Croatian international midfielder Kovacic will move to Stamford Bridge from Real Madrid. The 24-year-old has made 109 appearances for The Whites in three years at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium in which he has scored three goals. Kovacic has always faced a battle to nail down a starting place with Real Madrid and the player will now look to establish himself in the Chelsea side during a season-long loan stay in SE6.
