The Chelsea Development Squad will face Everton at home in their first Premier League 2 fixture of the season after the fixtures were released earlier today.

Joe Edwards’ men start their 2018/2019 league campaign against The Toffees at Stamford Bridge on Sunday 12 August, although they will travel to Swindon Town for their opening fixture in the Checkatrade Trophy five days earlier.

Chelsea will travel to Blackburn Rovers for their first away league fixture of the season on Monday 20 August while the final match of the season will see them travel to Brighton & Hove Albion.
