Chelsea have officially released their new home kit for the 2018/2019 season.

The Blues will be hoping to mount a fresh title chase next season and their new home kit looks to be a real winner for both players and fans.

Chelsea revealed pictures of their new kit on social media earlier today with fans immediately able to purchase theirs both online and from the Chelsea megastore.

The kit is again manufactured by Nike and is predominantly Chelsea blue as you would expect. One new addition is some thin red and white horizontal piping on the shirt. Over the years, red has rarely made such an appearance on the kit and fans’ minds may not have yet been made up on whether the colour is a hit or not.

The shorts are completely blue while Chelsea’s socks will be white with two thick red and blue hoops towards the top.

Chelsea will wear the new kit for the first time on Sunday when they travel to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United in the English Premier League. The Blues will be hoping that it will bring them luck as they hope to sneak into fourth place in the table at the expense of rivals Liverpool.
