Chelsea are expected to push opponents Swansea City into further relegation danger when the pair meet at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon according to the results of a series of exclusive Chelsea Presser fan polls.
A three-match unbeaten run has fuelled fresh hopes for a top four finish and Emirates FA Cup success for The Blues and struggling Swansea City are the next challenge for Antonio Conte’s men as they look to continue their 2017/2018 rescue mission.
Ahead of the match in South Wales, we asked Chelsea fans whether they think their side will beat The Swans. After watching their side reach the Emirates FA Cup final by defeating Southampton at Wembley last weekend, fans are in confident mood ahead of their trip to the Liberty Stadium with all votes being cast in favour of an away win.
In a second fan poll, we asked fans how many goals they expect The Blues to score against Carlos Carvalhal’s side. Two or three goals was the most favourable outcome with 86% of the votes while 7% think that Chelsea could net four or more. No votes were made in favour of just the one goal for the South West Londoners while 7% anticipate a clean sheet from hosts Swansea City.
Finally, with centre-back Gary Cahill having returned to the side in recent weeks, we asked whether the player will establish himself in the starting XI going forward. Fans are unsure of the part which the former Bolton Wanderers man will play with 58% voting that Cahill’s Chelsea career could be coming to an end.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 5.30pm and will be screened live on BT Sport 1.
