Chelsea will be looking to continue their good run of form by beating Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday evening.
The Blues have won their last two matches in the English Premier League while a 2-0 victory over Southampton for Antonio Conte’s men at Wembley on Sunday booked their place in next month’s Emirates FA Cup final.
Swansea City go into Saturday’s fixture just four points above the relegation zone in the English Premier League table. The Swans head coach Carlos Carvalhal has a defensive headache ahead of the match with both Federico Fernandez and Kyle Bartley rated doubtful. Winger Luciano Narsingh is also facing a late fitness test while on loan Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham is ineligible to face his parent club.
There is some good news for the South Wales outfit with midfielder Renato Sanches set to return following a hamstring injury.
Chelsea make the long trip along the M4 with no new injury concerns and manager Conte could select a similar side to the one which beat Southampton last weekend. Goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois could be the only new starter in the side with the Belgian having missed the match at Wembley with injury.
Marcos Alonso continues to miss out through suspension while fellow defenders David Luiz and Ethan Ampadu remain sidelined. Midfielder Danny Drinkwater could face a late fitness test.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 5.30pm and will be screened live on BT Sport 1.
