Chelsea are fancied to beat Tottenham Hotspur when the pair meet in a crucial English Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Easter Sunday according to the results of a series of exclusive Chelsea Presser fan polls.
The Blues trail fourth placed Spurs by five points and anything other than a win at The Bridge would surely end their hopes of a top four finish.
Ahead of the match, we asked the Chelsea faithful whether they think their side will beat the North Londoners. A huge total of 79% of voters opted for a home win, while 21% anticipate a draw. No votes were cast in favour of a first ever English Premier League win at The Bridge for the visitors.
In a second fan poll, we asked how many goals Chelsea will score against Tottenham Hotspur. Two or three goals was the most favourable outcome with 61% of the votes, while 28% think that The Blues will score once. The remaining 11% of voters opted for a Spurs clean sheet.
Finally, we asked whether Olivier Giroud or Alvaro Morata should start against Mauricio Pochettino’s men. Spaniard Morata was the favoured option with 57% of the votes, while 32% think that Giroud should start. Just 11% of voters believe that both players should start the match.
The fixture is scheduled to kick-off at 4pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League channels.
