Chelsea are expected to continue their return to form with a home win over AFC Bournemouth on Wednesday evening.
The Blues made easy work of fellow English Premier League outfit Newcastle United in the FA Cup Fourth Round at Stamford Bridge on Sunday and there is a feel-good factor around the club ahead of the meeting with The Cherries.
Ahead of the match, we asked Blues fans whether Chelsea will beat AFC Bournemouth in their latest fixture. Fans voted in their usual high numbers with 95% opting for a home win. Just 5% anticipate a shock away victory while no votes were made in favour of the draw.
In a second fan poll, we asked fans how many goals they think The Blues will net against The Cherries. Two or three goals was the most favourable outcome with 52% of the votes while 20% think that Antonio Conte’s men could score four or more. Just 12% believe that Chelsea will net just once while 16% think that The Cherries will record a clean sheet.
Finally, with the South West Londoners set to be without injured striker Alvaro Morata for the clash, we asked fans whether the Spaniard will be missed. A huge 76% of fans think that the striker is key to Chelsea’s success and will be sorely missed on Wednesday evening.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 7.45pm and has not been selected for live television coverage.
