Chelsea have sanctioned further loan moves for defender Baba Rahman and attacking midfielder Nathan according to The Blues’ official website.

Rahman has not featured for the South West Londoners since the 2015/2016 campaign while Brazilian ace Nathan is yet to make his debut for The Blues.

It has now been reported that Rahman has joined German club Schalke 04 on loan until the end of next season. The 23-year-old Ghanaian international ace spent time on loan at the Veltins-Arena during the first half of last season before a knee injury ended his stay with the Bundesliga club.

Rahman joined Chelsea from Augsburg in August 2015 however the player has struggled to impress at Stamford Bridge and has made just 23 appearances in all competitions for The Blues.

Midfielder Nathan is also starting a new loan spell away from The Bridge. The 21-year-old has spent the first half of the season with French club Amiens however the youngster will now move to Portuguese outfit Belenenses for the remainder of the season.

Nathan has been a Chelsea player for the last two-and-a-half years since joining the club from Atletico Paranaense but the youngster is yet to be handed his first team debut by manager Antonio Conte.

A number of other fringe players could yet leave Chelsea on loan prior to the closure of the transfer window later this week.
