Chelsea manager Antonio Conte could be poised to make a decision on the immediate future of Belgian winger Charly Musonda according to the Daily Star.

The 21-year-old Brussels born wideman has made just seven appearances for The Blues at first team level this season in which he has scored one goal.

It is believed that Blues boss Conte is keen to send the youngster out on loan so that he can benefit from some regular first team football and the Italian is set to make a decision on Musonda’s future in the coming days.

Musonda is set to be involved in the Chelsea squad for Sunday’s FA Cup Fourth Round fixture against Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge and the winger could be handed his final appearance for The Blues before being loaned out.

A number of clubs are thought to be keen on signing the highly-rated wideman including Glasgow giants Celtic and English Premier League pair AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle United. Chelsea are keen to see the player continue his development in the English Premier League however Musonda himself is thought to favour a move overseas.

The Belgian Under-21 international has come through the youth ranks at Stamford Bridge and could have a more regular role to play in The Blues first team in the coming years.
