Arsenal and Chelsea will battle it out for a place in this season’s Carabao Cup Final at Wembley when the two sides meet in the second leg of their semi-final at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday evening.

The first leg was a cagey affair with little in the way of clear goalscoring opportunities as the match ended goalless and the return fixture may be just as tense.

Arsenal go into the match without long term absentee Santi Cazorla while attacking duo Danny Welbeck and Olivier Giroud are also out through injury.

The Gunners will hand a late fitness test to defender Nacho Monreal with the player currently struggling with a slight hamstring problem while Aaron Ramsey will need to shake off illness to feature.

Chelsea go into the clash without Gary Cahill and Cesc Fabregas with the pair continuing to be sidelined by injury while they will be joined by Danny Drinkwater (ankle) and Alvaro Morata (back).

Blues boss Antonio Conte is likely to recall first choice goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois with the player having recovered from an ankle knock while defender Andreas Christensen will be fit enough to play after sustaining a head injury in the match against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football channels.
