Chelsea will be looking to return to winning ways in the English Premier League when they take on Brighton & Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.
The Blues have drawn both league fixtures to date in 2018 and a tough match awaits them on the south coast.
The home side go into the match without long-term absentee Steve Sidwell. The former Blues midfielder has been sidelined for several months after having surgery on a back problem and may not feature for The Seagulls again this season.
Chelsea make the trip to the south coast without a number of players. Centre-back Gary Cahill remains troubled by a hamstring problem, as does midfielder Cesc Fabregas and the duo are both set to miss the match.
The midweek victory over Norwich City in the FA Cup Third Round came at a huge cost with Pedro and Alvaro Morata both having been sent-off in extra time and the pair are now suspended for their side’s latest fixture.
Chelsea are set to play at the Amex Stadium for the first time in their history. The Blues last faced Brighton & Hove Albion on their own patch way back in 1989.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League channels.
