Chelsea are expected to finally impress when they take on Brighton and Hove Albion at the Amex Stadium on Saturday lunchtime according to the results of a series of Chelsea Presser fan polls.

The Blues are yet to win a match in normal time during the current calendar year but better is expected from Antonio Conte’s men when they return to English Premier League action this weekend.

Ahead of the match, we asked Blues fans whether they think their side will be victorious on the south coast. Fans voted in their usual high numbers with 91% opting for an away win and 9% for a draw. No votes were received in favour of a victory for The Seagulls.

in a second fan poll, we asked the Chelsea faithful how many goals they think their side will score against Albion. Two or three goals was the most favourable outcome with 55% of the votes while 9% think that The Blues could score four or more goals. Just 9% believe that the home side will keep a clean sheet while 27% expect Chelsea to score just once.

Finally, after a solid performance in the midweek penalty shootout victory over Norwich City in the FA Cup, we asked whether Danny Drinkwater should retain his place in the starting XI for the Brighton and Hove Albion fixture. Fans voted in support of the midfielder with 74% opting for the player to start.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports Premier League and Sky Sports Main Event channels.
