Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is thought to have made an approach to sign highly-rated Watford winger Richarlison this summer according to Metro.

The 20-year-old Brazilian youth international has played an influential role in the Watford side since joining The Hornets in a reported £11.2 million deal from Fluminense in July and a number of scouts are thought to have watched the player in action this season.

One of the clubs believed to be tracking Richarlison is Chelsea. The Blues have been linked with a move for the player over the last few weeks and while Watford have closed the door on a January Vicarage Road exit for the winger, Chelsea could look to tempt the Brazilian to SW6 in the summer.

It is believed that The Blues have already made contact with Watford over a potential move for Richarlison and there is a chance that the player could be seen in a Chelsea shirt next term.

Richarlison started his career with America Mineiro before spending one-and-a-half years with Fluminense. The wideman bagged 15 goals in 36 games for Tricolor last season resulting in a move to the English Premier League with Watford.

The winger has taken little time to impress in the top flight of English football with Richarlison having been an ever-present for The Hornets and scoring five league goals.
