French club Paris Saint-Germain Feminines are thought to be in talks with Chelsea Ladies striker Eniola Aluko over a move to France according to talkSPORT.

The 30-year-old Lagos born hotshot is out of contract at Kingsmeadow in the summer and could leave The Blues after being offered less starts for Chelsea than hoped so far this season.

It has now been revealed that French outfit PSG are hoping to sign the former England international forward and talks are thought to have been held between the two parties over a possible move to the Division 1 Feminine club for Aluko.

Joining a huge European club such as PSG would be a real positive move for the striker with the French club having reached at least the last four of the UEFA Women’s Champions League in each of the last three seasons. PSG were narrowly beaten on penalties by league rivals Olympique Lyon in last season’s final in Cardiff following a goalless draw after both normal and extra time and the gap does seem to be closing between the two sides.

Aluko was voted the Chelsea Ladies Player of the Year in 2014/2015 while she was the FA Women’s Super League 1 top scorer as recently as 2016. The forward can still play at the highest level and a move to France may appeal as Aluko looks to continue her impressive playing career.
