Chelsea winger Willian has reassured fans that he will remain at Stamford Bridge beyond the current transfer window according to Metro.

The 29-year-old Brazil born wideman has struggled for regular starts at times this season and has been linked with a Stamford Bridge exit in a bid for more game time.

Former mentor Jose Mourinho has been rumoured to be interested in reuniting with the player at current club Manchester United however Willian has now dismissed those links and has again insisted that he is very happy at Chelsea and is content with his role at the club.

Willian has two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal at Stamford Bridge and the winger seems to be ready to fight for his place in the side and see out the majority, if not all of that contract. The player has spent the last four-and-a-half years in South West London and has been part of a Chelsea side which has won two English Premier League titles as well as the EFL Cup.

The Brazilian has made 30 appearances for The Blues so far this season in which he has scored seven goals although the player will have hoped to have started a greater percentage of those 30 outings.

Willian is a popular figure amongst the Chelsea faithful and many fans will be hoping to see more of the winger as he continues to dismiss speculation on his future.
