Chelsea are expected to run riot when they face Brighton & Hove Albion in the English Premier League at Stamford Bridge on Boxing Day according to the results of a series of Chelsea Presser fan polls.

The Blues were held to a rare goalless draw with Everton at Goodison Park on Saturday but fans have confidence that the goals will flow again when they face The Seagulls for the first time since 1989.

Ahead of the match, we asked Blues fans whether Chelsea will beat Brighton & Hove Albion at The Bridge. Fans voted in their usual high numbers with 78% of voters opting for a home win. Just 22% think that the match will be drawn while no votes were made in favour of an away win.

In a second fan poll, we asked fans how many goals they think their side will score against Chris Hughton’s men. Two or three goals received 40% of the votes while the same percentage of voters opted for four or more goals from Antonio Conte’s men. Just 10% think that The Blues will score once while 10% anticipate that the visitors will keep a clean sheet.

Finally, with Chelsea having kept a clean sheet against The Toffees in their last match. We asked whether latest opponents Brighton & Hove Albion will score against them. Fans are confident of a clean sheet with 64% voting that the visitors will not score.
