Young Chelsea winger Kenedy could still join The Blues’ English Premier League rivals Newcastle United on loan according to the Evening Standard.
The 21-year-old Brazilian wideman was strongly linked with a move to St James’ Park in the summer however the two clubs were unable to agree on a loan arrangement with Chelsea short of cover in the wide areas.
It has now been reported that Blues boss Antonio Conte will allow Kenedy to join Newcastle United on loan for the remainder of the season during next month’s transfer window providing that the club bring in some reinforcements of their own.
The youngster has made just three first team outings for The Blues this season and Kenedy could benefit from some regular first team football away from Stamford Bridge.
Newcastle United have fallen into a relegation battle after a poor run of form in the English Premier League and the potential arrival of Kenedy on Tyneside would provide the club with a boost with the youngster boasting plenty of flair and creativity.
The winger dazzled in the Brazilian top flight prior to his move to Chelsea with Fluminense while Kenedy has featured for Brazil at under-20 level. The player is a raw talent and could blossom into a top class player with more game time.
