Chelsea are expected to reach the knockout stages of this season’s UEFA Champions League with a comprehensive victory over Qarabag FK in Azerbaijan on Wednesday evening according to the results of a series of exclusive Chelsea Presser fan polls.

The Blues know that they will be assured of qualification from the group with victory over the tournament debutants in Baku.

Ahead of the match, we asked Chelsea fans whether they think that their side will be victorious against Qarabag. Fans voted in their usual high numbers with 85% opting for a Blues win. Just 11% anticipate a draw and 4% expect the home side to cause an upset.

In a second fan poll, we asked fans how many goals they think Antonio Conte’s men will net in Azerbaijan. Two or three goals was the most favourable outcome with 52% of the votes while 28% think that The Blues could score four of more. One goal attracted just 10% of the votes while the same percentage believe that Qarabag could keep a clean sheet.

Finally, after being recalled to the squad for the weekend victory over West Bromwich Albion at The Hawthorns, we asked whether David Luiz should be handed a start against Qarabag. Fans voted in support of the Brazilian defender with 74% backing Luiz for a recall.

The match kicks-off at 5pm and will be screened live on BT Sport 2.
