Chelsea Ladies utility player Beth England has joined FA Women’s Super League 1 rivals Liverpool Ladies on a season-long loan deal according to The Blues’ official website.

The 23-year-old Barnsley born ace is primarily a midfielder however the youngster has been trialed in a number of positions during her 20 months as a Chelsea player.

England has been fielded in both defensive and attacking roles by Blues manager Emma Hayes in recent times but the question marks remain over which position is deemed to be the player’s best.

With more and more internationally established stars coming through the gates at Chelsea’s new Kingsmeadow home, this season was always going to be a tough one for England and it has now been agreed that the England Under-23 international will spend the upcoming campaign at Liverpool. The youngster is expected to be given plenty of game time by The Reds which will hopefully help England find her strongest position.

England started her career in her home county of South Yorkshire with Doncaster Rovers Belles and after helping the club to promotion back to the top flight, the player soon made her big move to Chelsea. Despite often playing in the shadows of other Blues stars, England’s attitude has been top class and the player makes the loan move to Merseyside with the club’s very best wishes.
