Chelsea have completed the signing of attacking midfielder Kylian Hazard from Hungarian club Ujpest for an undisclosed fee according to The Blues’ official website.
The 22-year-old La Louviere born midfield ace is the younger brother of Blues attacker Eden and the player becomes the third member of the Hazard household to represent the South West London club.
It has been reported that as Hazard has now completed his move to Stamford Bridge, the player will initially link-up with The Blues’ Development Squad in a bid to prove his worth to first team manager Antonio Conte.
After failing to impress as a teenager in the academy of French club Lille, Hazard joined Belgian second tier club Royal White Star Bruxelles in 2013. The midfielder quickly went on to shine with Les Etoiles and joined Belgian Pro League outfit Zulte-Waregem just 12 months later.
Hazard played something of a back-up role with the unfashionable Belgian top flight club and soon moved to Hungary to join Ujpest. The midfielder experienced regular first team football at the Szusza Ferenc Stadion and made almost a half-century of appearances for the club.
Moving to Chelsea is a huge step up for the player however Under-23s manager Joe Edwards will be looking to get the best out of the youngster in the Premier League 2 this season.
