English Football League new boys Forest Green Rovers have completed the signing of Chelsea keeper Bradley Collins on a season-long loan deal according to The Blues’ official website.

The 20-year-old Southampton born stopper is rated very highly by Chelsea and the player will now get the opportunity to showcase his talents at senior level.

Collins has been a vital player for The Blues’ Under-18 side in recent seasons as the club have gone on to lift both the UEFA Youth League title and FA Youth Cup while the youngster has been given the opportunity to experience Premier League 2 football with the Development Squad.

The youngster joins a Forest Green Rovers outfit which are set to enjoy their debut campaign in the English Football League following their promotion from The National League via the Play-Offs last season. A strong squad is being built at The New Lawn and Rovers are expected to do very well in their new surroundings of Sky Bet League Two.

Collins becomes Forest Green Rovers’ third goalkeeper with the player set to battle with Sam Russell and Simon Lefebvre for the number one jersey at the club. Manager Mark Cooper has already hinted that the youngster will be given game time by the club and Collins will be relishing the opportunity to prove his worth.
