Chelsea Ladies will travel to Birmingham City Ladies in the Semi-Finals of this season’s Women’s FA Cup after the draw for the last four was made on Monday afternoon.

The match is expected to be staged on Monday 17 April at Solihull Moors’ Damson Park ground however this will be confirmed in due course along with the kick off time. Marc Skinner’s side are set to play one of their FA Women’s Super League 1 home fixtures at St Andrews in May however it is unknown whether their Women’s FA Cup fixture against Chelsea could also be moved to that venue.

Chelsea find themselves in the last four of the competition after beating Sunderland AFC Ladies 5-1 at Wheatsheaf Park on Sunday. The Blues fell behind to an early goal for the visitors from the penalty spot but Emma Hayes’ side recovered well to win the match in hugely impressive fashion.

Semi-Final opponents Birmingham City caused arguably the shock of the round in the last eight by defeating Women’s FA Cup holders Arsenal Ladies at Damson Park on Sunday. The match was deadlocked at 0-0 until Marisa Ewers netted the only goal of the encounter 13 minutes from time to become the Blues’ cup hero.

In the other Semi-Final tie, FA Women’s Super League 1 champions Manchester City Women host Liverpool Ladies at The Academy Stadium.
