Chelsea’s assault on the Premier League title continues to go from strength to strength after The Blues battled back to beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 at Stamford Bridge.

Spurs took a surprise early lead with a goal from Christian Eriksen but two strikes either side of the half time interval from Pedro and Victor Moses ensured that The Blues continue to top the Premier League table.

Tottenham Hotspur started the match the better of the two sides and Mauricio Pochettino’s side were ahead after just 11 minutes when Eriksen launched an unstoppable shot into the net.

The home side struggled to find any real momentum during a dismal first half showing however Chelsea found an equaliser just before the break when wide man Pedro curled a wonderful strike into the net.

Blues manager Antonio Conte had clearly issued some stern words to his side in the dressing room at half time and Chelsea came out for the second period in determined fashion. Just six minutes into the half, The Blues took a 2-1 lead when Victor Moses fired the ball into the net.

Both sides searched for further goals in the match however the scoreline remained at 2-1 as The Blues secured a seventh straight league win. The result sees Tottenham Hotspur’s winless streak at Stamford Bridge go on with Spurs having not won in South West London in their last 30 visits.
