Out of favour Chelsea wide man Willian is being linked with a reunion with former mentor Jose Mourinho at Manchester United according to The Express.

The 28 year old Brazilian international star has been one of The Blues’ key players during his time at Stamford Bridge however Willian has lost his place in the side to former Barcelona winger Pedro.

It has now been reported that former Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is considering a £25 million move for the player in January to allow Willian to play regular first team football once again. The winger was crucial to The Blues’ 2014/2015 double success under ‘The Special One’ making 49 appearances in all competitions and there is no doubting the fact that Jose would love to have the player at Manchester United.

Despite the reported transfer interest from The Red Devils, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has reiterated that Willian remains in his future plans and is thought to have challenged the player to work hard to earn his place back in the side.

Willian joined Chelsea in a £30 million deal from Russian Premier League outfit Anzhi Makhachkala in August 2013. The player has gone on to be a huge hit at Stamford Bridge scoring 21 goals in 149 appearances for the club. The winger signed a new four year deal with The Blues last summer.
