Chelsea will be looking to repeat history on Sunday evening when they take on Manchester United in their Emirates FA Cup semi-final tie at Wembley.

The Blues defeated The Red Devils 1-0 in the 2018 Emirates FA Cup final with Eden Hazard netting the only goal from the penalty spot in the first half.

Frank Lampard’s men are taking on one of the form sides in the top flight when they meet Manchester United on Sunday evening. The Red Devils are unbeaten in eight matches since the season’s resumption last month while they have won all of their last four matches away from Old Trafford.

United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be without full-back Luke Shaw for the trip to Wembley with the player suffering from an ankle injury. Brandon Williams and Jesse Lingard are set to be available while Solskjaer is yet to make a decision on whether to play David de Gea or Sergio Romero in goal.

Chelsea continue to be without influential midfielder N’Golo Kante who is nursing a hamstring problem. Youngsters Fikayo Tomori and Billy Gilmour also remain out of action.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 6pm on Sunday evening and will be screened live on BBC One.
