Chelsea and Swiss international forward Ramona Bachmann has completed a move to French top flight club Paris Saint-Germain.

The 29-year-old Malters-born striker has spent the last three-and-a-half years of her career at Kingsmeadow but has now moved on in search of regular first team football.

Bachmann’s Chelsea departure was confirmed on the club’s official website earlier today with the player going on to sign a two-year deal with new club Paris Saint-Germain.

Bachmann was a 2017 FA Women’s Super League 1 Spring Series winner during her time with The Blues while she also won two regular season FA Women’s Super League titles. The player was a Women’s FA Cup final winner with Chelsea in 2018, netting twice against Arsenal in the final at Wembley, while she also lifted the FA Women’s Continental League Cup with the South West Londoners earlier this year. In addition to these honours, the striker has helped Chelsea progress into the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League, although sadly The Blues never reached a first competition final while Bachmann has been at the club.

Four players have now left the reigning Barclays FA Women’s Super League champions so far this summer. Bachmann has joined Adelina Engman, Deanna Cooper and Anita Asante in leaving Kingsmeadow.
