Chelsea have unveiled their new Nike home kit for the 2020/2021 campaign with the first images appearing on the club’s official website this morning.
The latest design from American kit manufacturers Nike can only be described as very blue and is sure to attract plenty of positive and negative comments from the Chelsea faithful.
The home shirt is virtually all blue. The collar and sleeves have a darker blue trim while there is also a band of the same colour tone down each side of the shirt. The main body of the shirt includes a herringbone knit which is enhanced by bespoke flourishes.
The shorts follow a matching theme to the shirt while the all-white socks include a blue Nike tick logo and a woven in image of the Chelsea lion.
Chelsea’s 2020/2021 kits will all be sponsored by mobile phone network provider, Three.
Frank Lampard’s men are wearing the kit for the very first time this evening as they take on West Ham United in a London derby in the Premier League at the London Stadium. The Blues will wear the kit for the first time on home soil on Saturday evening when struggling Watford at the visitors to Stamford Bridge.
