The wait goes on for Chelsea fans as they eagerly await news of their club’s new 2020/2021 kits.

Frank Lampard’s men are expected to wear new home, away and third kits next season but the release dates look to have potentially slipped due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Last season saw The Blues launch their new home kit in early May, ahead of their final home Premier League fixture of the season against Watford while their white away kit was revealed in July. The black third kit was launched in September with the 2019/2020 campaign having already started.

Chelsea are likely to again reveal next season’s home kit first, which will be manufactured by American sportswear giants Nike. Fans will be hoping that their wait will soon be over and that they can get their hands on the new kit, particularly with Premier League football returning next week.

It is believed that the 2019/2020 home kit was one of the most popular Chelsea home kits for some time with the club’s spiritual home of Stamford Bridge having been incorporated into the shirt. The club have 12 years left to run on their deal with Nike and it is hoped that Chelsea will be provided with another unique home kit for next season.
