Chelsea have been drawn to travel to Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the Emirates FA Cup.
The draw took place earlier this evening with Chelsea being the last ball out of the hat.
Chelsea find themselves in the last eight of the competition for the fourth season in a row after defeating English Premier League leaders Liverpool 2-0 at Stamford Bridge in their fifth round tie last night. Willian and Ross Barkley got the goals for Frank Lampard’s men.
The Blues’ reward for that excellent result is a trip to The King Power Stadium where they will take on Leicester City. Recent fixtures between the two sides have been incredibly tight with the last three meetings ending in draws. The pair met at The King Power Stadium only last month in the English Premier League with the match ending 2-2.
Chelsea’s Emirates FA Cup quarter-final meeting with Leicester City is scheduled to take place on the weekend of 21/22 March 2020. The tie is likely to be televised therefore a date and kick-off time is set to be announced over the course of the next few days.
