Chelsea will be looking to continue their push for UEFA Champions League qualification when they travel to The Vitality Stadium to take on AFC Bournemouth in the English Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

The Blues have a three-point cushion in fourth place following a 2-1 victory over London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge last weekend but a trip to AFC Bournemouth is never easy despite The Cherries’ struggles this season.

The home side go into the match with no new injury concerns to contend with following last weekend’s disappointing 3-0 defeat at Burnley. Former Blues defender Nathan Ake is fit again while Colombian midfielder Jefferson Lerma is also ready for selection following a recent rib injury.

Chelsea could be without at least four players for their trip to the South Coast. Midfield trio Christian Pulisic, Callum Hudson-Odoi and N’Golo Kante all remain sidelined with injury, as does talismanic forward Tammy Abraham.

AFC Bournemouth were the shock winners in the reverse fixture at Stamford Bridge in December. Dan Gosling scored the only goal of the game in the 84th minute as The Cherries caused an upset.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm and will not be screened on live television.
