Chelsea will be hoping to return to winning ways in the English Premier League when Tottenham Hotspur are the visitors to Stamford Bridge this lunchtime.

The Blues were soundly beaten by Manchester United on Monday evening and they are in need of a big result to keep their push for UEFA Champions League qualification on track.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard must do without French midfielder N’Golo Kante for almost a month with the player having sustained an adductor injury in the defeat to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Manchester United.

Midfield pair Christian Pulisic and Callum Hudson-Odoi are missing through injury but The Blues will be boosted by the return of star striker Tammy Abraham while Ruben Loftus-Cheek could make his long-awaited comeback.

Former Blues boss Jose Mourinho brings his Tottenham Hotspur side to Stamford Bridge with the club facing potential UEFA Champions League elimination following a 1-0 defeat to German club RB Leipzig in the first leg of their last-16 tie on Wednesday evening.

Mourinho is without key players Son Heung-min and Harry Kane for the trip to The Bridge while Juan Foyth and Moussa Sissoko are also missing.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 12.30pm and will be screened live on BT Sport 1.
