Chelsea face a tough task if they are to return to winning ways in the English Premier League with third-placed side Leicester City up next at the King Power Stadium on Saturday lunchtime.
The Blues drew 2-2 with 10-man Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in their last English Premier League match, although they still have a six-point cushion on fifth-placed Manchester United in their ongoing challenge for UEFA Champions League qualification.
Leicester City will again be without defender Wes Morgan and midfield anchorman Nampalys Mendy for the visit of The Blues, however, manager Brendan Rodgers has no new injury concerns to contend with ahead of the match. Striker Jamie Vardy is pushing for a start following a recent glute problem.
Chelsea travel to the East Midlands without midfield duo Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek who continue to be sidelined with their respective injury problems. Blues boss Frank Lampard is sweating over the fitness of striker Tammy Abraham who has an ankle injury.
The reverse fixture in August ended in a 1-1 draw. Mason Mount fired Chelsea into an early lead but they stuttered and Wifred Ndidi levelled matters in the second half.
