Chelsea FC Women face a London derby in the fourth round of this season’s Women’s FA Cup with The Blues being handed an away tie at second tier club Charlton Athletic.

The draw for the fourth round was made live on talkSPORT 2 on Monday evening with Chelsea receiving news of a favourable draw.

Emma Hayes will take her title-chasing side to Crayford where they will face Charlton Athletic at VCD Athletic’s home of The Oakwood. The match will take place on Sunday 26 January with full ticket details to be announced in due course.

Charlton Athletic are currently bottom of the FA Women’s Championship table, although they are unbeaten in five league matches after drawing all of them. The Addicks are yet to win a match in the league this season despite the club having challenged for promotion to the top tier last season.

Chelsea are aiming to win back the Women’s FA Cup trophy which they last won in 2018. The Blues suffered semi-final heartbreak last season, losing at Manchester City after Magda Eriksson netted a cruel injury time own goal.

The Blues have arguably got the easiest draw of the FA Women’s Super League’s top four sides. There will be a Manchester derby as Manchester United take on Manchester City while Arsenal travel to West Ham United in the draw’s other highlights.
