Chelsea will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Watford at Vicarage Road in the English Premier League on Saturday evening.

The Blues saw their seven-match winning streak in all competitions ended by Manchester United in the Carabao Cup fourth round at Stamford Bridge in midweek and manager Frank Lampard will be hoping for a swift response from his side.

The English Premier League’s bottom club Watford are missing a number of key first team players for the visit of the former champions. Defender Etienne Capoue, midfielder Tom Cleverley and forwards Danny Welbeck and Troy Deeney are amongst the players who are sidelined for The Hornets. Frontman Isaac Success is set to return to the squad following injury.

Defender Antonio Rudiger and midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek continue to be missing for Chelsea while Andreas Christensen is also doubtful. The game will come too soon for Frenchman N’Golo Kante while fellow midfielder Ross Barkley is also expected to miss out. Striker Michy Batshuayi is pushing for a start after netting five goals in his last five appearances.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 5.30pm and will be screened live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League channels.
