Chelsea will be hoping to return to winning ways in the English Premier League when Brighton & Hove Albion are the visitors to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues went down 2-1 to league leaders Liverpool in their last league encounter last weekend but they will fancy their chances against a Brighton & Hove Albion side who are sitting below them in the table.
Chelsea will be without injured trio Emerson Palmieri, Antonio Rudiger and Ruben Loftus-Cheek for the clash against The Seagulls. The Blues could welcome back Danish defender Andreas Christensen with the player having been declared fit to feature while the likes of Reece James, Ross Barkley, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Michy Batshuayi all staked claims for starts after impressing against Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup in midweek.
Brighton & Hove Albion make the trip to South West London without a handful of first team players. Defender Shane Duffy is out while midfielders Bernardo, Solly March and Leandro Trossard are also missing through injury. Iranian midfielder Alireza Jahanbakhsh and striker Glenn Murray are available for selection following their respective injury woes which have recently seen them sidelined.
The match is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm and has not been selected for live television coverage.
