Chelsea will be looking to record back-to-back victories in the English Premier League when Sheffield United are the visitors to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon.

Both clubs have collected four points from their three league games so far this season and the threat of the newly-promoted visitors should not be underestimated by Frank Lampard’s Chelsea side.

The South West Londoners go into the match without Reece James, N’Golo Kante, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Pedro who continue to be sidelined by their respective injuries. Popular defender Antonio Rudiger has represented the Development Squad in recent weeks but is not said to be fit enough to make his first team return.

Sheffield United make the trip to Stamford Bridge with doubts over defender Kean Bryan who is struggling with an ankle injury while midfielder John Fleck faces a late fitness test on a hamstring problem and is rated at 50-50.

The Blades will play at Stamford Bridge for the¬†first time since 2007 when Chelsea ran out 3-0 winners in an English Premier League fixture. Sheffield United haven’t won at the venue since October 1992 when they beat The Blues 2-1 thanks to goals from Adrian Littlejohn and Brian Deane.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm and has not been selected for live television coverage.
