Chelsea have unveiled their new away shirt for the 2019/2020 season as revealed on the club’s official website.
The Blues have opted to roll back the years with kit manufacturers Nike coming up with a design which would not look out of place in the 1960s on the King’s Road.
The South West Londoners have today revealed their 2019/2020 away shirt which is on-sale now. The shirt is white with a button collar, a style which was popular in the Mod culture of the 1960s. There is a red and blue trim on both the collar and the sleeves. The shirt has a piping effect across the full jersey which integrates into the plain design.
The shorts are completely white with a plain design while the socks are predominantly blue with a white and red trim on the lower leg.
The replica shirt is available from both the Chelsea online store and official club stores at the price of £64.95. Fans also have the option to buy the exact shirts worn by the players at a cost of £89.95.
It is understood that Chelsea will wear the kit for the very first time when they take on Kawasaki Frontale in the first match of their Japanese tour on Friday.
Inspired by Mod culture, which thrived in 1960s south-west London, our 2019/20 Nike away kit is here! 🔥
It's a sharp look. It’s a Chelsea thing.
