Out of favour attacking midfielder Nathan has again been loaned out with the player re-joining Brazilian club Atletico Mineiro until January according to The Blues’ official website.

The 23-year-old former Brazilian youth international has been on Chelsea’s books since summer 2015 but the player is yet to make his first team debut for The Blues.

Nathan has spent the last 12 months back in his homeland with Atletico Mineiro where he made 24 appearances, scoring two goals. It has now been reported that the midfielder has re-joined the Serie A outfit until 1 January. The Rooster started their 2019 league campaign in April and Nathan will be at the club for the remainder of their season.

The player started his career with Atletico Paranaense where he made 24 appearances and netted one goal. Chelsea are believed to have paid around £4.5 million to secure Nathan’s signature. Since moving to Stamford Bridge, the midfielder has been loaned out on several occasions. First was a two-year loan spell with Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem before Nathan spent time with Amiens. A loan move to Portugal followed where the player represented Belenenses before Nathan joined Atletico Mineiro.

Nathan’s extended stay at Independencia could help him push for senior international honours for the first time in his career.
