Chelsea’s 2018/2019 Player of the Year, Eden Hazard, will join Real Madrid with a transfer having been agreed between the two clubs according to reports by The Blues’ official website.

The 28-year-old attacker told reporters after last week’s UEFA Europa League final that he believed that he has played his last game for the club and Hazard is now said to be signing a contract at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium.

It has been reported that the initial transfer fee to be paid by Real Madrid is in the region of £88 million, however, Chelsea could net themselves up to £150 million should Hazard become a hit in La Liga.

After starting his career at French club Lille, Hazard joined Chelsea in summer 2012 in a deal worth around £32 million. The forward has gone on to make 352 appearances for The Blues in which he has scored 110 goals. A popular name both in the dressing room and in the stands, Hazard has twice been named the Chelsea Players’ Player of the Year while he has won the club’s overall Player of the Year gong on four occasions.

Hazard leaves Stamford Bridge having won two league titles and both the Emirates FA Cups and the Carabao Cup. He has also lifted the UEFA Europa League trophy on two occasions.
