With UEFA Champions League qualification already in the bag, Chelsea have very little to play for when they travel to Leicester City for their final English Premier League match of the season on Sunday.

The Blues are assured of at least fourth place, although they can finish third if they equal or better Tottenham Hotspur’s result against Everton.

Home side Leicester City are playing to get the points required to finish in the top half of the English Premier League table. The Foxes go into their match against The Blues without midfield duo Daniel Amartey and Matty James through injury. Title winning pair Danny Simpson and Shinji Okazaki are in line to make their final appearances for the club.

Chelsea will again be without long-term absentees Antonio Rudiger and Callum Hudson-Odoi for the trip to The King Power Stadium while Danish centre-back Andreas Christensen is doubtful after picking up a knock in the match against Eintracht Frankfurt at The Bridge on Thursday evening.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri is expected to have midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek available for selection despite the player having struggled with cramp during the club’s UEFA Europa League semi-final second leg tie.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 3pm and has not been selected for live television coverage.
