Chelsea will be hoping to simply get the job done when they take on Dynamo Kiev in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League round of 16 tie in the Ukraine this evening.

The Blues won 3-0 in the first leg at Stamford Bridge a week ago and that lead is likely to see them through to the quarter-finals barring a complete collapse this evening.

Blues boss Maurizio Sarri will be without striker Gonzalo Higuain for the match with the player having been left in London due to illness.

The Italian boss is also likely to rest several key players given both The Blues’ considerable advantage from the first leg and his concerns over the playing surface at the Olympic Stadium.

Opponents Kiev go into the match without midfielder Vitaliy Buyalskiy who is suspended following his booking at Stamford Bridge in the first leg last week. Winger Benjamin Verbic is available for selection after serving his suspension, however, the player is now struggling with illness and may be doubtful.

Chelsea’s only other trip to the Olympic Stadium in Kiev came in October 2015. On that occasion, the two sides played out a goalless draw in a UEFA Champions League group fixture.

Tonight’s match is scheduled to kick-off at 5.55pm and will be screened live on BT Sport 3.
