Chelsea will look to build on their 2-1 first leg advantage when they take on Swedish club Malmo FF in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League last-32 tie at Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening.

The Blues lead the tie thanks to goals from Ross Barkley and Olivier Giroud which were scored at the Swedbank Stadion a week ago.

Chelsea go into the second leg without the services of first choice goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga who has a hamstring injury while defender Davide Zappacosta and forward Pedro are both ill. Blues boss Maurizio Sarri could opt to make several changes to his starting XI with Chelsea’s EFL Cup final clash with Manchester City at Wembley just three days away.

Veteran Willy Caballero is expected to start the match in goal while the likes of Andreas Christensen, Willian and Olivier Giroud may also come back into contention.

Malmo travel to South West London with doubts over centre-back Franz Brorsson who has a stomach problem while attacker Guillermo Molins is again unlikely to feature due to a thigh injury which has seen him sidelined for a few weeks.

The match is scheduled to kick-off at 8pm and will be screened live on BT Sport 2.
