Chelsea’s Brazilian winger Lucas Piazon has agreed a deal to join Italian club Chievo on loan until the end of the season according to The Blues’ official website.

The 25-year-old Sao Paulo-born wideman has struggled to make any kind of impact at Stamford Bridge since moving to South West London seven-and-a-half years ago.

Piazon has spent the best part of the last six seasons out on loan. The midfielder returned to Chelsea following the expiry of his latest loan deal at Fulham at the end of last season and it has now been revealed that the player will move out on loan yet again with Piazon this time joining Italian club Chievo.

The winger will move to the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi until the end of the season. Piazon joins a Chievo side who are bottom of the Serie A table and the club look almost certain to be relegated after winning just one of their first 21 league matches.

Piazon has made just three senior appearances for parent club Chelsea.  The player has been loaned out to Spanish club Malaga, Eredivisie outfit Vitesse Arnhem, German outfit Eintracht Frankfurt and Sky Bet Championship clubs Reading and Fulham so far in his career. The winger will now test himself in the Italian game with Chievo.
