Chelsea full-back Victor Moses has joined Turkish giants Fenerbahce on a loan deal until the end of next season according to reports by The Blues’ official website.
The 28-year-old Nigerian international wideman was a favourite of former Blues manager Antonio Conte during his tenure at Stamford Bridge, however, the player has failed to hit the same heights with current Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri with Moses having struggled to fit into the Italian’s system.
With Moses lacking starting opportunities at Chelsea, it has been reported that the Lagos-born full-back has agreed to join Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce on a loan deal until the end of next season.
The Yellow Canaries find themselves at the wrong end of the league table and the club will be hoping that new loan signing Moses can help lift them away from their unfamiliar position. Fenerbahce sit just one place above the relegation zone whilst they are winless in six Turkish Super Lig matches.
During his time in the Chelsea first team, Moses has made 128 appearances for the club while he has contributed 18 goals. The full-back has played a key role in The Blues’ English Premier League title success in 2016/2017 as well as their Emirates FA Cup win last term. Moses has also won the UEFA Europa League with the South West Londoners.
Moses could make his Fenerbahce debut when they take on Yeni Malatyaspor at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Monday evening.
